General Admission entry is free. For special exhibitions and events a free companion card ticket can be booked online or purchased in-person at entry. A valid companion card must be shown with ticket.
The Museum of the Goldfields is mostly accessible. There is level access on the ground floor to reception shop exhibition space and outside courtyard. There is an available lift that operates to four floors: basement ground 1st floor and the Headframe viewing platform. Access to the first floor of the British Arms Hotel is via stairs only. Free ACROD parking is available at Museum entry on Hannan Street.
