The Kalgoorlie Town Hall is currently closed to the public.
A historic Kalgoorlie Town Hall tour is held every Monday and Wednesday at 10:30am.
Tour cost is: $10 per person $8 with a concession card and $4 for children 16 years and younger
The Kalgoorlie Town Hall located on the corner of Hannan and Wilson Streets is one of the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder’s major landmarks. Built as a state-of-the-art theatre in 1908 this impressive Edwardian-styled building has many beautiful architectural features such as ornate pressed metal ceilings chandeliers sweeping staircase fly tower with original theatre rigging backstage area with 11 dressing rooms and extensive collection of art and memorabilia. As a town hall it still hosts the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder Council meetings 100 years later. The Council Chambers and Mayor’s Parlour on the first floor contain many objects photographs and paintings of historic value.
Accessibility: The Hall is accessible with both parking and toilets as well as 1st Floor accessible via a lift.
