Mount Magnet Race Club hosts one meeting each year in spring a full day of activities and entertainment. The Race Club runs a fully licensed bar on the day and two-up is played after the last race. The Mount Magnet Race Club is located 2km north of town was formed in 1896 establishing the foundation for what would become one of the most tenacious racing clubs in the country. Here along with the thrill of the race in rich red earth you can experience the enduring outback spirit.
