Celebrating ten years of the Companion Card Program in WA

It has been ten years since we issued our first Companion Card in WA. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we joined forces with some of our amazing affiliates to give cardholders the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes.

In total there were 350 prizes including gym passes, scenic canal cruises, drag racing tickets, swimming pool passes, family passes to parks and exhibitions, and bowling passes.

We had an outstanding response, with more than 570 cardholders entering the competition. A huge thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations to all the lucky winners. Here are a few of their comments:

“My son was a winner and I would like to thank you guys and the affiliates for the hard work that goes on to help support all families and carers. The program has benefited my son immensely and given him lots of opportunities to be apart of some fantastic events and community initiatives” - Lisa S

“The companion card certainly helps us go out to do more things in the community” - Gaynor T

“The companion card has made a huge difference to my autistic sons life, it means we can to take him to lots of fun places we couldn't normally afford. It also helps with his speech development - we went to the water slides and he learnt to say independently "no this one" when insisting on going down the corkscrew water slide over and over and over again, he had only said single words until then” - Lindy S
